Tek Smart Enterprise began with the simple idea that ground damages are preventable. The airline industry spends millions of dollars each year repairing aircraft because of human error.

Damage to the aircraft results in significant cost. Additionally, lost passengers to your competitors, hotel and meals for your customers, lost crew time, and aircraft effectiveness are all costs that impact revenue when ground damage occurs. The damage to an aircraft has a domino effect that leads all the way to your bottom line! If the ground damage occurrences decrease, hidden costs, such as insurance rates will also be reduced.

The Jett Safe prototype was developed in early 2000. We began the process of patenting this idea in 2001, and in 2003 we were awarded a US Patent.

The first Jett Safe was sold to Express Jet Airlines in October of 2001. Within the first 30 days of installation in CVG the ramp personnel stopped the Loading Bridge (PLB) using the Jett Safe and avoided costly damage. Since then, we have installed over 60 units all over the country. As of this date, there has not been any damage to an aircraft from loading bridge operator error that has the Jett Safe device installed.

The smaller T-1000 for regional jets uses the same durable construction as the larger T-2000.

JETT SAFE RESULTS:

Jett Safe T-1000 and T-2000 are our launch products. Currently, our company is using a significant amount of our profits for research and development of new products that prevent ground damage. The loading bridge is only one of many different types of ground equipment that comes into contact with aircraft. Ramp personnel need safety equipment that can limit and even prevent ground damage to aircraft. Our challenge is to make practical devices that work in real world conditions. Time is money, and we develop our products to enhance the safety of equipment while maintaining a minimal impact on your operation.

While no product can guarantee a zero ground damage event from occurring, Tek Smart Enterprise is committed to the development of products, such as the Jett Safe switch, that will result in a reduction of ground damages.

4. Products that are practical to real world operating conditions.
5. Products that require a one-time cost but offer short and long-term financial benefits.
